Exit-site adhesive antiseptic silver dressing with cut and hole
Description
Catheter exit-site dressing with pre-cut silver ion-releasing anti-adherent film.
Available in two models:
- breathable hypoallergenic non-woven plaster
- waterproof polyurethane membrane
Intended Use
Dressing of the insertion points of intravascular devices. It does not require the use of secondary dressings. To be used as a mechanical barrier for the absorption of exudates. The waterproof-based version, preserves the exit-site from contact with water during patient hygiene operations. Compatible with all types of catheters of standard use.
Indications
The silver ion-releasing film exerts an immediate and long-lasting antimicrobial action, helping to reduce the risk of local
infections of the exit-site, the tunnel and the sepsis associated with the use of intravascular devices. Reduces the signs of inflammation and promotes tissue regeneration.
